Martin Youth Foundation works alongside sector partners to connect the whole journey of recovery for young people. By sharing what we learn, supporting evaluation and building connections between partners doing the work, we contribute to a stronger youth alcohol and other drugs sector.
Our sector partners
Investing in evidence-based youth alcohol and drug programs is our core focus, but our impact comes through the partners we fund and the relationships we build.
Mission Australia
Mission Australia is our service partner and a leading community services organisation that works to support vulnerable Australians. We are the major philanthropic funder of Triple Care Farm (Knights Hill, NSW) and Youth Network, two youth-specific drug and alcohol treatment and aftercare programs that Mission Australia delivers.
Alcohol and Drug Foundation
In partnership with the Alcohol and Drug Foundation, we completed a 2025 project to map youth AOD services across Australia. While this work revealed encouraging progress, it also highlighted critical gaps that prevent young people from accessing life-saving support.
Campaigns we support
We lend our voice to a range of sector campaigns focused on, or intersecting with, the youth alcohol and other drugs sector. This work aligns with our commitment to raising awareness and reducing stigma around substance use so that young people experiencing addiction can access the care they need.
Fair Treatment
The Fair Treatment campaign calls for a more compassionate and evidence-based approach to drug policy in Australia. Led by the Uniting Church and Uniting, this campaign brings together 75+ organisations to advocate for two key reforms:
- A compassionate health and wellbeing-based response to personal drug possession
- Increased funding for alcohol and other drug treatment services, particularly in rural and regional areas
#RaiseTheAge
In NSW, children as young as 10 can be arrested, including for alcohol and drug offences. Many will experience repeated contact with the justice system as a result of this first interaction. #RaiseTheAge advocates for an increase in the age of criminal responsibility to align with international standards and help children and thrive.

Statement of Solidarity in Support of First Nations Communities
Led by the Australian Council of Social Services (ACOSS), the Statement of Solidarity supports First Nations communities in their ongoing efforts to achieve sovereignty and self-determination.
As a Statement supporter, we are committed to:
- solidarity and action with First Nations communities, including Voice, Treaty and Truth-telling
- ensuring our own decision-making processes respect First Nations voices, leadership and right to self-determination
- developing partnership principles that acknowledge Aboriginal community-controlled organisations as the experts on First Nations issues
